Coymoon Creations by Sharon Connolly

I was born during WW II in the seaport of New Bedford, Massachusetts and have lived in the Catskill Mountains (NY) for the past 32 years.

I've devoted most of my life to children. I brought six of my own into this world - five sons and one daughter - now ranging in age from 36 to 21. As an apostolic endeavor, I raised many young children through Foster Care. My husband Michael and I have been married for 37 years and now share the joy of seven grandchildren.

For over fifty years, I have been immersed in my passion for American cinema, as well as International cinema. Having lived abroad, I am especially fond of European culture and travel. My present interests include researching the history of Kennebunk, Maine. I love paper and pens - yes, old and new books, postcards, stationery...

Vincent Perez's talent came to my attention through HBO's "Shot Through the Heart" in 1998. After scanning the Net for information on this actor, I found little to none. The rest is history. I am employed by my friend, actor Peter Coyote, to manage his official web site, which I created six years ago. My other web sites are:

Martoncsokas.net: Created November 2003

Stellanonline.com in collaboration with Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård: Created June 2004

Simply Sam - Playwright/actor Sam Shepard: Coming in 2005

A rather eclectic group...

Some kind words from Peter Coyote...

"The genesis of my web site was a series of correspondences which developed between myself and Sharon Connolly (Coymoon).  Her letters to me were queries about something I had said or written somewhere, and while they often disagreed with my point-of-view, they were inevitably well-argued, indisputably honest, provocative and demanded responses. I was flattered by her offer to set up a web site, and rather selfishly hoped that it might serve as a home for much of my writing. I have been pleased beyond my fondest hopes with what she has accomplished. She has located the most obscure of my writings, songs, essays, documentaries, films and speeches and organized them in a manner that makes them easily accessible to the curious, and importantly, to myself. I'm proud to say that during the course of this time, Sharon and I (and her husband Michael) have become good friends. And she still continues to surprise and delight me.  It is a great honor to have someone dedicate so much time and energy to professional life."
