Three other films, also featuring female protagonists, have been picked up for American distribution and should be in theaters in the coming months. Peau d’Ange is the directorial debut for French actor Vincent Perez (Queen Margot). A young woman, forced to find work when her family can no longer afford to support her, changes the life of a cynical man after they spend an evening together. Perez directs with admirable economy, confident in the script and what he wants to get out of each scene.
