During the four days, the second edition of Rencontres 7e Art Lausanne welcomed nearly 10,000 people, including 6,000 spectators during the screenings. The cinema event, whose theme was "Beyond the Limits", offered a series of screenings and meetings with film personalities, such as Joel Coen, Agnès Jaoui, Andreï Zviaguintsev, Jean-Jacques Annaud, Jean-Paul Rappeneau and Matt Dillon.

This second edition met "a more than exciting success", announced the organizers. More than 40 personalities came to present their films, meet the public or introduce the masterpieces screened in theaters. According to Vincent, quoted in the press release, "all our guests have left happy and wish to return because they have experienced strong and precious moments."
